German Language
In alignment with the levels given at Goethe Institute, TLEC offers all 5 stages of the German Language as follows: A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1
Additionally, TLEC offers preparation for the TestDaf, the DHS or the Goethe Institut examinations.
Turkish Language
The Turkish language program runs in partnership with T.C. AVRUPA MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULU, ISTANBUL. TLEC offers all 6 stages of the Turkish Language for foreigners as follows: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2
After the completion of the aforementioned stages, students may register in the TȌMER prep course which will qualify them to join Turkish universities or take the TYS prep course which is another accredited test accepted by most universities in Turkey. The prerequisite for both exams is the completion of C1 stage.
It is worth to mention that the duration of each stage takes up to 90 hours of study.
Arabic Language
Modern Standard Arabic: (Extensive Course)
Following the CEFR standards of languages our Arabic “fosHa” course is divided into 6 stages as follows: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.
Each stage is divided into 3 levels of 2 months each.
These courses are in partnership with “Al Jinan University” Tripoli, LebanonOn site courses
Colloquial Arabic: (Spoken Arabic) Intensive or Extensive
This course will help any non-arabic speakers to understand the language function of the Arabic language and to get by. Spoken Arabic classes are given in the Lebanese dialect and/or the Gulf dialect and can be provided upon request. This course is divided into 2 sections:
- Section A: introduction to the colloquial alphabet, words, sentence structures
and the formation of simple sentences in the present, past and future.
Duration: 60 hours - Section B: topic based subject practice stressing the conjugation of 125 most
used verbs.

Modern Standard Arabic (FosHa): Intensive course
This basic course is designed for students who are looking to learn the Arabic Calligraphy besides learning how to read and write up to the pre-intermediate level. The course is divided into two sections:
- Section A: It introduces the Arabic calligraphy and familiarizes the students
with the sounds and teaches those words and vocabulary for specific occasions
and short expressions.
Duration: 60 hours Practice: 120 hours - Section B: It stresses more structural grammar and introduces sentences in
their 3 forms. The course further develops to allow the students read a full
text at a lower intermediate level with full comprehension when attempting to
answer the questions. At the end of the course, the student will be able to write
a descriptive essay on various subjects.
